Seating Chart Maker privacy policy

Seating Chart Maker arranges rosters into seating plans for export or printing.

Data and use

Storage keeps the current chart, up to 20 named charts, editor controls (seatingChartMaker.v1) and rating-prompt state (seatingChartMakerRatePrompt). Charts hold pasted rosters or CSVs with names, groups, meal choices, dietary details, companion information, furniture, rules, locks, assignments and paper settings. Exports may include guest details. Dietary details can reveal health information.

Analytics

The welcome page opens once on install and sends the install count through this site, which derives the country from the connection and stores nothing. Goodbye and rating pages use analytics for removals.

Feedback and reviews

1-3 stars open feedback; removal may open an optional goodbye survey. Submissions include reason, comment, extension version and interface language; comments reach the publisher through Telegram. Uncommented submissions are stored only as counts. 4-5 stars open Chrome Web Store reviews once configured.

Retention and deletion

New chart clears current work; named charts need separate deletion, and controls/rating state remain until replaced or uninstalled. Uninstall removes extension storage, not exports, submitted feedback or reviews, which are managed at their destinations.

Your rights

Where applicable, you can learn how data is used, access, correct or delete it, restrict or object to processing, request portability, withdraw consent, complain to a supervisory authority and exercise California rights without discrimination.

Children

Student names can be children's personal data, so enter only authorised information.

Limited Use

Sale and unrelated use or sharing of user data are prohibited.

The use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
